We created a combination business networking/listening session called Stories From the Road in 2016 at The Townsend Theater in downtown Austin. From the first show, Austin business leaders showed up in solidarity and the event sold out for 22 consecutive months until the COVID shutdown the music business. 

In partnership with The Saxon Pub, Stories From the Road is back supporting over 50 Austin artists and performers in a rotation that has been described as “a living room jam session with a buffet of Austin players…” the show is unscripted, unrehearsed and audience participation is unbridled.  

Come early, dig the spontaneous show and stay after for laidback networking and to meet the musicians who made Austin famous.

Stories From the Road is a FairPlay event. Your ticket purchase and support goes directly to the musicians, crew and servers to help ensure a living wage.  Don’t wait until the last minute to get a ticket. Seating is limited and tickets sell quickly for these monthly events.
