The Austin Blues Revue is a premium business networking event that music, food and drink at legendary Austin venues. With exclusive concerts from some of the biggest names in music, the event’s mission is to develop a new live music economic model that brings together businesses and local music.
While Austin, Texas is known as “The Music Capital of the World” the reality on the ground is that local acts often make very little money, often relying upon tips for compensation. Our team worked with The Austin Community Foundation to develop an event series to call attention to the problem and partner with local businesses to improve musician wages.
After extensive research to understand the target market’s preferences with regard to live music and business networking, We company developed the Austin Blues Revue brand and events. Our team executed an integrated marketing strategy to drive sponsorship and ticket sales.
The Austin Blues Revue raised six figures for charity and was nominated by the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce as “Most Authentically Austin.”
The project boasted a 100% sold out record featuring a premium pricing model while attracting sponsors including VeraBank, Plymouth Gin, Lambs Tire and Automotive, Conversion Sciences and many other sponsors.
The Austin Blues Revue also delivered an average of 250% higher musicians wages for almost sixty performers while bringing an average 320% increase in income for venues.
