In 2004, Frost and Sullivan, a leading market research firm, named Camtronics as one of the top five cardiology-solution vendors in the United States
The company’s growth was floundering when the board of directors removed the founder/president and the entire executive team in an effort to reverse years of falling revenues and rising waste. The board also removed the V.P. of Marketing, and the internal marketing team.
Clarity Marketing Support was engaged to lead the medical device manufacturer’s marketing, advertising, and trade show effort.
Over the span of just seven months, Clarity developed and implemented strategies for a diverse product line of medical devices and cardiac imaging software. We also helped launch one of the first electronic medical records software platforms.
Working closely with the interim president, the client’s sales team and product managers, we implemented a trade marketing strategy, new advertising and publicity campaigns and more.
Within twelve months the client returned to profitability. Within 18 months we reversed nose-diving revenues by 450%, and assisted in the acquisition of the firm at a valuation of over 11X earnings.
