Even though I believed to my soul that I was billing at the top of what clients would pay, this idea was just in my head. I was wrong and it cost me dearly for ten years.  

 

I knew I wasn’t charging enough compared to my impact but the truth is I was terrified to raise my fee because I didn’t know what I didn’t know. 

 
  • I didn’t know that top gun advisors and consultants use a common system to establish their worth and attract the right clients. 
  •  
  • I didn’t know that my fee was causing me to lose clients. Not because it was too high, but because it was too low.
  •  
  • I had no idea my clients were paying my competitors more than 10X what we were billing. 

 

It took me ten years of searching and paying mentors, coaches and consultants to learn what I’ll show you in this 45 minute webinar.

To the core of my being I thought my business was the exception – I had a thousand excuses why there was “zero chance of tripling my fee” but I was wrong. 

 

I spent years feeling I was undercharging. My wake up call came from an employee who worked at a very similar firm across town. We shared a client in Rockwell. 

 

They were billing the same client over 10X what we billed. For the same type of work we did. And they delivered half of what we typically delivered.  

 

I was astounded. Their work was solid but we felt deliverables were light. In reality we were over delivering and underbilling. It was our perspective that was wrong. 

 

We already understood these ideas as concepts but we needed to understand how to leverage them as a system to enhance how clients saw our value: 

 

  • The High Value Mindset – what it is and what it’s not.
  • The Value Curve – the roadmap to higher fees
  • Positioning – the behavioral science behind how people assign value to things they buy. 

 

Only after I saw how to deploy these concepts together was I able to attract and close six figure consulting deals with clients including AMF Worldwide, GE Medical, Abbott Laboratories, Lachat-Zellweger, Quest Technologies, Insinkerator and many other global brands and countless lesser known mid-sized companies.
